Holy City Insulation is an insulation and air sealing company covering greater Charleston — Charleston, Berkeley and Dorchester counties, from the peninsula and the sea islands to Summerville, Goose Creek, Moncks Corner and St. George.
We do insulation and air sealing. Not insulation plus windows plus HVAC. One trade, one set of crews, one thing to be good at.
A lot of what gets sold as insulation in this metro is sold off a script, priced off a square-foot number and installed without anyone sealing the ceiling plane first. Blown fiber over a leaky ceiling looks like a finished job from the hatch and performs like half of one. We measure what is there before quoting, seal before we insulate, and mark the finished depth on a ruler you can see from the ladder.
If your attic is already at depth, we will say so. If the real problem is a duct in an unconditioned attic or a bathroom fan venting into it, we will tell you that instead of selling you fiber. If there is vermiculite up there, we will tell you to leave it alone and why.
Free assessment, a measured R-value, and photos you keep either way.
